Week Thirteen
It is week thirteen! This week I did one of the SOL sessions and talked about not only my experience as a Student Orientation Leader, but as a Student Ambassador as well. It was fun to reflect on that process of personal growth. I spoke a lot about how I was not initially attracted to the idea of applying, because I did not think I had fit the mold of what I thought those positions looked like. I am introverted, soft spoken, struggle to make conversation. But I realized those were also skills I WANTED to learn, and that I have developed by being in those spaces. I hope students apply!

Some other things I did this week was my welcome desk shift, poster hanging, and the Ambassadors meeting. I also went to Senate for Student Government and held my office hours. As well, I have been trying to develop ideas for the Blue Ash Review, the literary magazine I work with, to prepare for submissions and encourage students to let us see their work!
