Week Eight
Week 8 felt unproductive and productive at the same time. A lot of the work that I do makes me question if it will actually be achieved, due to a multitude of barriers. Sometimes it's difficult for me to see things through and look at everything from an overall-type of perspective. I think that is how I am feeling about academics. Since the pandemic, it's like I lost my passion for learning, and I can't find joy in any of my classes, even with some of my favorite professors. Yet, I'm still trying to power through this semester.
This week I did poster hanging again. As well, I volunteered for the first time at the Bearcats Pantry. I posted on my Senator page for people to stop by and use this resource, and a local business owner actually contacted me about donating potential items, so I was very happy to have gone there and connect them with our contacts.
I also did more work within Student Government. I actually tabled over at CCM, and a student came up to me and asked if my name was Casey, then said that he had voted for me! That meant so much that this person I didn't know hopefully resonated with my platform and initiatives to remember me.
