Week Fifteen

Week Fifteen! The home stretch. This week I worked a good amount at the welcome desk, which I always think is fun when people I know come up and say a quick hello, or just greeting students that walk by. I also did the Feed Your Brain event, where I helped students make neurons out of Reese's cups, Twizzlers, candy straws, and toothpicks, which was also awesome! There was someone who is lactose intolerant so we improvised and curled another Twizzler in the shape of a circle. I also met with Professor Gioielli again and talked a little bit more about the Honors Program and next semester. Additionally, I came to the Ambassador party/get together - it was nice to see almost everyone in one place again - and I am also surprised I was voted most likely to survive a zombie apocalypse because I feel like I'd be the last. Lastly, I finished the week with hanging posters around the school... about the library chat! Which was a bit full circle since I work at the library and am one of the people who monitors the chat.
