Week Eleven

To be honest, I did no do much as an ambassador this week besides my welcome desk shift and the ambassador meeting. Sometimes I feel so spread thin with all of my other involvements. Yet, I do not want to leave all of them but at the same time I do not feel as if I could put as much passion into them because of how much delegating I have to do, but I suppose that's the life of a student leader.

Just when a professor recommended me to scale back, the next day (this past Wednesday) I got tapped into a women's sorority, Sigma Phi, that consists of a group of empowering female leaders on our campus working to make substantial change during their time at UC. I was completely surprised when they interrupted the Senate meeting I was in to tap me. I immediately felt so honored, yet sometimes I feel like I don't deserve it.

Other than that, I have been trying to catch up on my academics. As well as my social life--I hung out with a friend I hadn't seen in months (that I used to hang out with every day before the semester started) and we drove all the way to Columbus to get coffee and go to a 32 room bookstore. We didn't even put music on because we had so much to say.

That's about it for this week!
