Week Nine

How many weeks do we even have in a semester? As per usual, I find that my whole semester is going by like a blur but I feel like these reflections slow it down a bit when I have a moment to take some space and think.

This week I did a classroom visit with classroom visit. I always like them because I always have fun talking about my experience and thinking about my first year in college. I hope that these conversations are catalysts for them to get involved if they aren't already outside of their classes, even if it's to a single event.

I also spoke briefly with Prof. Gioielli. Next week I get to speak in a few of his classes. I compiled a presentation, that I will lead along with Shadi. Wish me luck!

As well, I went to Senate which was fun, this week we did it in the 1819 Innovation Hub and got to tour the place. It was intriguing to learn about what exactly they do and all of the creative freedom students have to use at the own will. The thing is is that just many people do not know about it. I hope that I can do some part in spreading the word and showing people this resource that they have to use.

Not much happened this week since I had midterms, but I'm sure as we keep churning on I'll be more jam-packed with news to share here.
